Jim Himes no match for Watson; other politics news

In a way, U.S. Rep. Jim Himes was in a no-lose situation.

Sure, Himes was unlikely to hold his own against IBM super-computer Watson last night in a ‘Jeopardy’-style trivia contest in Washington.

But then again, neither did a panel of past Jeopardy champions led by Ken Jennings duiring a competition last month.

It was no surprise, then, that Himes and his colleagues were on the wrong end of a blowout last night. But the event made for some interesting theater, as Molly Harbarger writes.
