A spokeswoman for Sen. Joe Lieberman confirmed with Hearst Newspapers’ Charles J. Lewis Friday that the senator had met the previous afternoon with Linda McMahon, at her request, in his Senate office.
Accompanying her to the meeting was Pat Sullivan, her political consultant.
The meeting was scheduled to last 30 minutes but went a bit longer, according to the spokeswoman. The official topic for the session was “national defense,” she said.
