About 12 percent of registered voters in Stratford have cast a ballot as of 3 p.m. today, said Republican Registrar of Voters Lou Decilio.
Decilio said the voter turnout is on par with the 2007 election. There was a 27 percent voter turnout that year, he said.
“It’s kind of what we expected,” said Republican Registrar of Voters Lou Decilio. “It’s about the same turnout percentage as 2007. With no top of the ticket mayoral election, that’s what we thought we’d get.”
He added, “Some districts are performing better than others.”
