McMahon & Shays give CPAC a wide berth

There’s an old adage: tell me who you go with, and I’ll tell you who you are.

Linda McMahon and Christopher Shays won’t be earning any points on Acela this weekend, or perhaps with firebrand conservatives.

Both Republican Senate candidates are giving CPAC — that’s the Conservative Political Action Conference — a wide berth.

You won’t find 4th District GOP Congressional hopefuls Chris Meek and Steve Obsitnik on the roll call either.

Scheduled speakers at the right-wing conclave in Washington, D.C., include White House contenders Rich Santorum and Newt Gingrich, as well as Mitt Romney and former presidential candidate Michele Bachmann.

The campaigns for Brian K. Hill (Senate) and Daria Novak (2nd CD) confirmed that they are attending CPAC.
