In a result no more surprising than the sun coming up, Mitt Romney rolled to victory tonight in Connecticut’s GOP presidential primary.
Below is a voting breakdown from the Associated Press. The voter turnout — huge in the second and fifth districts, smallest in the third — gives you a quick snapshot of where the state’s GOP voters live.
It’s also worth noting that Ron Paul, with an appeal to some of the state’s libertarian-leaning Republicans, edged Newt Gingrich by a substantial margin for second place.
Rick Santorum finished just over 600 voters behind Gingrich despite having suspended his campaign earlier this month.
