Primary day in Connecticut

Mitt Romney may have all but locked up the GOP nomination for president, but the former Massachusetts governor is still looking to impress today when voters in five states — including Connecticut — go to the polls to vote in presidential primaries.

Hearst Connecticut Media Group will have continued primary coverage throughout the day.

For starters, though, here’s a rundown of content you can find on Hearst’s websites:

  • As Neil Vigdor writes, prospective First Lady Ann Romney headlined the state GOP’s annual Prescott Bush Dinner last night in Stamford. Her key pitch: Despite claims to the contrary, she can relate to women who have juggled a career and raising a family.
  • Brian Lockhart writes that Romney is hoping the Nutmeg State will give him a hefty margin and another boost in momentum.
  • Kate King writes that Romney is looking for his first win in Stamford after finishing behind eventual nominee John McCain in the 2008 primary.
  • Wondering where you can vote? Here’s a database where you can find your polling station.
  • Worth noting: Though he suspended his campaign earlier this month, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is still on today’s ballot, along with Romney, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas.
  • In addition to Connecticut, GOP voters are going to the polls today in New York, Rhode Island, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
