From the Michael Bloomberg school of healthy living, Jim Himes checks in at No. 16 on The Hill newspaper’s list of the 50 most beautiful people on Capitol Hill.
You probably won’t run into the Democratic congressman at Arby’s.
Or holding a Starbucks frappuccino.
Himes, 46, a married father of two from Greenwich, is seeking his third term against Westport Republican Steve Obsitnik.
When Himes was at Harvard, he dabbled in modeling for the likes of Ralph Lauren back when their clothes were made in the good old U.S.A.
That’s another story.
Himes stays fit swimming in the House members’ pool and running on the National Mall.
He probably never thought he show up on any list with Michele Bachmann.
The Minnesota congresswoman, who ran for the GOP presidential nomination and is beloved by tea party members, was 10th on the list.
