President Obama’s Connecticut fundraisers today come as Politico reports this morning that Obama lagged presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney in fundraising in July.
This, despite hauling in $75 million. Such are the magnitude of the fundraising operations these days, not only the candidates’ efforts but the various third-party entities that will pour hundreds of millions of dollars into the race on their own.
