President Obama, scheduled to be in Stamford and Westport for fundraisers tonight, will be in town later than expected.
The President was initially expected in Stamford shortly after 4 p.m., but an updated schedule released by the White House has Obama arriving at JFK International Airport at around 4:30 and not arriving at the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa until closer to 7.
After the Stamford event, Obama will re-board Marine One at Stamford’s Kociuszko Park for a short trip to Sherwood Island Park in Westport. He’ll then be driven to a $38,500-per-head fundraiser at the house of Hollywood producer Harvy Weinstein. That event is now scheduled to begin at about 8:30, the White House said.
