Connecticut’s top Republican is playing it close to the vest on who he is supporting in today’s Senate primary between Linda McMahon and Christopher Shays.
“I’m neutral to the very last second,” said Jerry Labriola Jr., chairman of the state GOP.
Labriola says he called Shays last night and McMahon this morning to wish them well in the primary, which McMahon is favored to win.
“We had very constructive discussions with both candidates,” Labriola said.
