Low turnout in Danbury

It’s slow going in Danbury where voting officials report that just 10 percent  of registered Democrats voted as of 2 p.m. Republicans had a little bit of a better showing, with about 14 percent of the city’s GOP ranks hitting the polls in the city that’s supporting Lisa Wils0n-Foley’s primary bid for her party’s nomination in the 5th Congressional District race. Voting officials are hoping for an uptick in activity when the 5 o’clock hour rolls around, but rain clouds continue to loom overhead so what happens in the next five hours is anyone’s guess.
