The brand-conscious wrestling conglomerate blasted the Democratic Senate nominee Friday for running a campaign ad during one of its signature television programs the night before his landslide victory in the primary and then the next night saying that his general election opponent, Linda McMahon, made “billions off of selling sex, violence and drug abuse.”
McMahon’s family runs the WWE and she is former chief executive of the Stamford-based company.
