The Bilmar Beach Resort is home this week to Republican National Convention delegates from Connecticut and North Dakota.
The convention rate is $165 a night excluding taxes at the 1950s-era retro hotel, where a chap in a pirate’s costume presented Mardi Gras beads to delegates upon their arrival.
No word on what was expected in return for the beads.
