Thank you, come again: Obama cleans up in 7-Eleven poll

While Nate Silver and the many of the nation’s pollsters are calling this year’s presidential election pretty much a dead heat, the president is taking a commanding leading in at least one poll.

Convenience store mega chain 7-Eleven is selling barely drinkable coffee in either blue paper Obama cups or a red Romney variation and tallying the results as part of their 7-Election 2012 campaign.

Obama is trouncing his GOP opponent with a 20-point margin; in terms of electoral votes, he’s carrying the entire nation with the exception of Idaho and West Virginia. The poll, which was introduced during the 2000 presidential election has been shockingly accurate — to within 1% of the popular vote.

No word yet on who has the upper hand in the next round of the Great American Slurpee® Debates.
