Obama’s handling of Hurricane Sandy “important” to 41 percent of voters

While we wait for real results to roll in, let’s look at the not-so-real snapshots delivered by exit polls. Quick translation of those who respond to exit polls: People with too much time on their hands.

A CBS exit poll shows that 41 percent of voters thought President Obama’s handling of Hurricane Sandy was an “important” factor in their choice. The survey found that 26 percent named Sandy as an “important” factor while 15 percent said it was “the most important” factor.

No, that’s not a majority, but the fact that it’s even that high on the priority list to voters who were not even touched by Sandy’s devastation tells us something.

Apparently Obama’s made-for-the-cameras Jersey bromance with NJ Guv Chris Christie DID mean something….to a decent chunk of voters.
