BRIDGEPORT- If you voted in Bridgeport, no doubt you passed by bright yellow vote “Yes” signs. They were as plentiful, it seemed as Linda McMahon signs, at all city polling places.
The signs refered to an effort to get city residents to vote yes on a charter revision question which would convert the city’s elected school board into one that is appointed by the mayor. They contrast to the more modest, sometimes hand made Vote No signs.
