Connecticut Republicans have certainly grown accustomed to it, only the pit bosses have the letter (D) after their names.

Looking to add glitz to their state party convention in 2014, when voters will elect a governor and members of Congress, state GOP leaders approved a plan Tuesday night to hold their conclave at Mohegan Sun resort and casino in Uncasville.

A contract has yet to be signed, but it’s undoubtedly a bold move for a party looking to win its first statewide election since 2006.
