Two “cold chickens” will visit Danbury Mayor/Exploring gubernatorial candidate Mark Boughton’s office this afternoon. Why? Because state Democrats want to make some political hay. Yesterday, Boughton had a little fun with Danbury High School students who were heatless. Neil Vigdor covered the back and forth in the previous blog post. The takeaway is that Marie Antoinette never said “Let them eat cake.”
Anyway, the folks in the chicken costumes are scheduled to make it to Boughton’s office, 155 Deer Hill Avenue, Danbury, at 2 o’cluck. To make it a thorough stunt/Democratic guerrilla theater, the large fowl will be “available for photos and video,” according to the Democratic State Central Committee.
