I am the Treasurer for Susan Bysiewicz’s Senate campaign. Under FEC Rules, a report must be mailed by October 15, 2013. The campaign mailed the report on that date as required by certified mail from the Meriden Post Office, receipt number 70070220000129521753. The US Postal Service tracking website confirms the timely mailing, and indicates an amusingly circuitous route thereafter, arriving in DC on 10/27. Like other things sent to DC, after it arrived who knows what happened? (You can view it yourself.) We complied with FEC rules, have provided the documentation to the FEC, and expect them to correct their website shortly. I can send you copies of the receipt, tracking report, and the report itself if you wish. Please correct your blog. In retrospect,I should have sent it by Pony Express! Yikes!
