If there’s a run on Missoni scarves this week on K Street, now you’ll know why.

Multiple executives from a top DC lobbying shop are pairing with aerospace giant Boeing and Connecticut drug maker Alexion to throw a political fundraiser Tuesday for U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, a Democrat in her 12th term.

For a minimum donation of $500 — one can give up to $2,600 for the general election and another $2,600 IF there’s a primary (yeah, right) — you can rub elbows with the fashion foward DeLauro at Art and Soul. The Capitol Hill restaurant is run by Art Smith, the former personal chef of Oprah Winfrey.

Listed on the invitation as a host of the reception is Alexion, a global biopharmaceutical based in Cheshire that makes the blood disease and kidney disorder drug Soliris.

A number of the hosts work for the international law firm and lobbying shop Covington & Burling LLP.

The group Friends of Rosa DeLauro has raised $564,000 for the current election cycle for the congresswoman, who garnered 68 percent of the vote in 2012 and 65 percent in 2010.

Republicans have been quiet on the 2014 race.
