After Comptroller Kevin Lembo this morning, comes the deluge of re-election candidates

Comptroller Kevin Lembo this morning will file his intentions to seek re-election to a second four-year term handling the state’s payroll and benefits programs while keeping an eye on state finances. A parlor game: Name the order that the rest of the top-of-the-ticket candiates, all Democrats, will file. Here’s one scenario: Treasurer Denise Nappier, Secretary of the State Denise Merrill, Attorney General George Jepsen and, eventually, inevitably since he’s never stopped running for election these last three years, Gov. Dan Malloy and the woman he calls his partner, Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman.
