Republican Tom Foley has been pretending to be a TV-reporter type, doing “man on the street” interviews with people who speak in his favor. His campaign has posted three interviews, apparently from the streets of downtown New Haven. You can view all of them HERE.
The third one, “Jerry,” who blames “the damn liberals who want to tax people to death” as his reason for supporting Foley – who stands next to him with a microphone – turns out to be a former inmate. Jerry Buchanan, now 54, pleaded guilty to three separate fourth-degree sexual assault cases in Guilford and Madison. He served three months in prison.
