Mark Boughton wasn’t as fortunate.
Boughton’s failed conquest for the GOP nomination for governor hasn’t tempered his enthusiasm for U.S.A. soccer.
Danbury’s longest-serving mayor jokingly announced via his Twitter account Tuesday that the Hat City is imposing a ban on brussel sprouts and Belgian waffles ahead of this afternoon’s World Cup soccer showdown between the Yanks and Belgium.
“Parade on Main Street if USA wins today.. Who’s with me??” Boughton quipped.
