The Connecticut Service Employees International Union has scheduled “an important announcement” with Gov. Dannel Malloy and Lt. Gov. Wyman at noon. So the event is most likely not going to be an endorsement for Jonathan Pelto, the wild card third-party hopeful for governor. The SEIU represents more than 65,000 health care workers, janitors and child care providers. The event will be held in the SEIU 1199 New England headquarters, 77 Huyshope Avenue in Hartford.
