Sunday Rewind: Tom Foley takes his turn on the political talk show hot seat

Republican Tom Foley, reprising his 2010 candidacy for governor, sat down for extended interview with WFSB (Dennis House), Hearst Connecticut Media (Neil Vigdor) and  the Hartford Courant (Chris Keating) on “Face the State” that aired this Sunday on the Connecticut CBS affiliate.

The former U.S. ambassador to Ireland and private equity manager from Greenwich was asked to flesh out his positions on gun control, the state budget, tolls, congestion on Interstate 95 and his connection to the closing of a Georgia textile mill in the 1990s that resulted in significant layoffs.

Here is the footage from the 30-minute episode, which was taped Friday at WFSB’s Rocky Hill studios.
