State Rep. Christina Ayala appears to lose

|

State Rep. Christina Ayala, D-Bridgeport, has not formally conceded, but Hearst Connecticut Media has observed that her campaign headquarters is pretty much empty and being shut down half an hour after the polls closed at 8 p.m.

Ayala, a freshman who had a rocky first term plagued by some personal issues, lost the Democratic Town Committee’s endorsement in May to Chris Rosario, the anti-blight director for Bridgeport.

Two of the worst choices offered by the Democrats lost, Newton the thief and Ayala the liar, maybe there is a chance the Democratic voters will turn out the riffraff and have honest candidates to vote for. What’s happening with Ayala’s mother, the Registrar who allowed her daughter to lie about where she lived?
