Quinnipiac poly sci prof: both Foley, Malloy need “charisma transplants.”

The quip of the day goes to Quinnipiac University Political Science Professor Scott McLean, who says that today’s arrival in Connecticut for public events and fundraising by Bill Clinton for Gov. Dannel Malloy and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s recent appearance for Republican challenger Tom Foley, are breathing life into the candidates.

“Both Clinton and Christie are in our state not only to raise cash, but also to give much-needed charisma transplants to the gubernatorial candidates,” McLean said. “Polls show voters just aren’t enthusiastic for either (Tom) Foley or Malloy.”
