Deadline for Tom Foley’s federal tax extension is today.

On September 26, high up in a downtown Hartford law office, Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Foley allowed reporters to examine cover sheets for his 2010, 2011 and 2012 federal income taxes. Reporters were told that Foley had an extension for his 2013 filing. None of his Connecticut tax filings were included in the batch on the conference table, overseen by Mark McNulty, Foley’s communications director, who hinted vaguely that the state returns were somewhere in transit. They have yet to materialize. So today is the deadline for Foley to file those 2013 taxes.
