The Bridgeport reunion tour of President Barack Obama is one tough ticket.
So listen up.
The Connecticut Democrats will reissue tickets for Sunday’s rescheduled rally with the president to rain check holders starting at 9 a.m. Friday at two locations.
Obama was forced to bag his Oct. 15 appearance for Gov. Dannel P. Malloy in Bridgeport to meet with his Cabinet to address the emerging public health threat of the Ebola virus.
In 2010, Obama stumped for Malloy and the rest of the Democratic ticket the final weekend of campaign in Bridgeport.
Here’s the email that went out from the state Democratic Party to rain check holders:
Thank you for returning your ticket to the cancelled rally with Connecticut Democrats and President Obama. Starting tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM, you can come in and pick up your new ticket to Sunday’s rescheduled event at one of these two locations:
908 Wood Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604 or
2484 East Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06610
On Sunday, doors will open at 1PM at Central High School in Bridgeport for our rally.
We need you to come pick up your ticket tomorrow, October 31, in order to guarantee your spot!
