Bridgeport Teens can volunteer Saturday for Obama rally tickets

BRIDGEPORT – High School students looking to catch a glimpse of President Barack Obama in the City on Sunday who didn’t score tickets can earn them Saturday by volunteering with Bridgeport CAN

The youth group will host the City’s first ever Get Out the Vote Youth Day of Action Saturday Nov. 1. All High School Students who volunteer for four hours, between the hours of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. will receive a ticket to see the President on Sunday as he stumps for Gov. Malloy at Central High School.

The group will organize at 908 Wood Avenue and hope to engage youth by “giving them an incentive for being educated on the political process and empowering them through substantive action.”

More information can be found on the groups Facebook page.
