It ain’t exactly scientific but ‘Robots’ on WPLR indicate Malloy wins tomorrow

Gov Dannel P. Malloy just won the battle of Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots, again, over Republican gubernatorial challenger Tom Foley, at the end of their debate broadast on WPLR’s morning show “Chaz and AJ.” The show, on the Classic Rock station, may have reached a sizable audience for whom the impending election may be…ah…on their back burners, to say the least. The candidates themselves reprised the topics pursued in their six previous head-to-heads. Foley said Malloy had his chance to turn around the state. Malloy said he has pulled the state out of the ditch left by 20 years of GOP governors and claimed 70,000 new jobs mean the state is finally emerging from the recession. Malloy wondered why Foley declines to release his state income taxes covering the last four years. Foley said the summary sheets of his federal taxes that reporters were allowed to review constitutes full disclosure. Foley said Malloy’s public record is a four-year failure. Malloy charged that Foley, a private investor from Greenwich, bankrupted companies and fired strikers while he reaped millions. The morning shock jocks then trotted out a Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em game, which is the original pugilistic interactive boxing match so familiar to the demographic of Boomer males who still need a dose of The Doors to get going in the morning. rock em
