In the 26th Senate District, Republican Toni Boucher, of Wilton, was re-elected to a fourth term, beating Democrat Philip Sharlach. Sharlach conceded defeat before all votes in that multi-town district were tallied.
The 26th Senate District includes Westport, Wilton, Bethel, New Canaan, Redding, Ridgefield and Weston.
