Voters turned away from polls in New Haven

People looking to register and vote the same day were turned away in New Haven.

About 100 people were turned away when polls closed at 8 p.m, according to NBC Connecticut.

Some voters were reportedly waiting line for up to two and a half hours. This is the second year that voters can do same-day registration and then vote in Connecticut.
