Source: Rep. Auden Grogins will be nominated to Superior Court

audenPolitical wannabes in Bridgeport are already lining up to replace Sen. Andres Ayala, who last week was nominated to head the state Department of Motor Vehicles. Now, veteran Rep. Auden Grogins, a lawyer, will not take the oath of office next week because, according to knowledgeable Capitol sources, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is about to nominate her to the state Superior Court. This will have Black Rock Democrats scurrying to take her place in the Legislature. Grogins, who would have been the co-chairman of the Planning and Development Committee, is pictured here with Malloy and Gregg Dancho, director of Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo.
