National trends do not hold true of our area of Fairfield County. For example, do not assume that since it is still a sellers market in certan price ranges in Trumbull and Norwalk, that it is that way throughout all price ranges in those towns- or neighboring towns, for that matter. In other words, some areas and price ranges offer greater negotiating opportunities than others.

Deciphering the statistics on supposedly reliable real estate sources can leave one scratching their head. One site says a home is worth “X” amount of dollars, and the next can vary up to 25 percent. Unfortuunately, at this time, there really is no one perfect valuation site. The best way to research value is to speak with a Realtor who knows the area that you are interested in. The best apps are ones that connect you to your Realtor in a moments notice. Researching schools/ and their ratings , and area demographics would be your best bet.
The right Realtor can guide you through the process and give you the information and statistics you desire on the neighborhoods and/or price ranges of your choice. An experienced agent can also discuss local market nuances and trends that a national type of website could not possibly know.
