A pedestrian has been rushed to the Trauma Center at Stamford Hospital with “potentially” life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on Loughlin Avenue in Cos Cob, according to emergency radio transmissions. Greenwich Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene.

A sedan appears to have reversed or rolled down a driveway of a house across from Loughlin Playground, swerving to the right and knocking over a lamp post, before running into a wall and small tree. The car had a bumper sticker that reads “Patience Please New Driver Training.” Police at the scene could not comment on the severity of the pedestrian’s injuries or provide further details on the incident.
