A local woman is facing disorderly conduct charges after what started as a verbal argument ended with clothing thrown, possessions seized, and her physically accosting her male roommate.

Police were dispatched to the pair’s Weaver Street apartment just after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on reports of a domestic dispute thereat.

At the apartment, police  found Patricia Dussinger, 33, and in the subsequent investigation determined that the argument had been instigated by her throwing the male victim’s clothing into a stairwell. The dispute escalated when Dussinger entered the victim’s room and grabbed hold of several personal belongings. The victim demanded the items back, but she refused to relinquish them, police said. He seized his possessions out of Dussinger’s hands, causing the dispute to turn physical as Dussinger grabbed the victim and pushed him.

Police issued the aggressor a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct. Dussinger appeared in Superior Court in Stamford on Wednesday, November 6.
