The state Department of Education released today the 2013 School Performance Index scores, which are based on schools’ 2013 Connecticut Mastery Test and Connecticut Academic Performance Test results.
For CMT performance, Greenwich posted an overall SPI score of 89.3, beating its target of 88.0. That score also exceeds the state’s long-term goal of all districts scoring an 88 or better.
With the exception of Hamilton Avenue, Julian Curtiss, New Lebanon and Western Middle School, every school in the district met its SPI target.
Eastern Middle School, The International School at Dundee, Greenwich High School, North Mianus School and Riverside School were recognized as Schools of Distinction based on strong performance by their entire student bodies or student subgroups.
