Go on ‘Holiday’ tonight at Greenwich Library

|

The holiday season is a great time of year to watch classic films. Among those perennial favorites is “Holiday,” starring Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, Edward Everett Horton and Doris Nolan and directed by George Cukor.

The Greenwich Library will host a screening of “Holiday” tonight at 8 p.m. in its Cole Auditorium.

An announcement on the library’s website describes the film as a “delightful comedy with supercharged star power. Grant and Hepburn share rebellious refusals to lead a life of privilege among the super rich and privileged. Grant displays some impressive gymnastics as well.”

Admission is free.

Doors open at 7:40 p.m.

And, here’s a preview:
