Think there’s nothing more to bird coloring than the blue jay or the robin redbreast? Think again. The Greenwich Audubon will host the talk “Birds are more colorful than they look” from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15. Bob Montgomerie, PhD, a widely recognized leader in the study of plumage color in birds, will discuss how birds sometimes  appear more colorful to each other than they look to us.

To RSVP, email greenwichcenter@audubon.org. There is a suggested donation of $5 to $10.
