Greenwich Democrats to host caucus to elect new members

An announcement from the Greenwich Democrats:

The Greenwich Democratic Town Committee will hold its biennial caucuses on Monday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. at the locations listed below.

The caucuses provide the opportunity for registered Democrats in Greenwich to seek membership on the DTC as representatives of their respective districts and to get actively involved with the political process in town.

Committee members work to nominate and elect candidates in local, state and national elections.

Meeting locations are as follows:

District 1: Town Hall, Parks and Recreation Conference Room, second floor, 101 Field Point Road,  (Elizabeth Sanders, convener)

District 2:  Town Hall, Engineering Conference Room, 101 Field Point Road,  (Brad Markowitz, convener)

District 3:  Hamilton Avenue School, 184 Hamilton Ave. (Phil Pittocco, convener)

District 4:  Byram Veterans’ Club, 300 Delavan Ave.; corner New Lebanon Ave. (Al Shehadi, convener)

District 5:  Riverside School cafeteria, 90 Hendrie Ave. (Betty Bonsal, convener)

District 6: First Congregation Church, Room 104, 108 Sound Beach Ave. (Gerald Pollack, convener)

District 7:  Greenwich High School, teacher’s cafeteria; behind Food Court, 10 Hillside Road (Phyllis Behlen, convener)

District 8:  Cos Cob Library, Community Room, 5 Sinawoy Road (Peter Berg, convener)

District 9: Greenwich Western Civic Center, Room 115, 449 Pemberwick Road (Bob Beerman, convener)

District 10: Round Hill Community Church, parlor, 395 Round Hill Road (Howard Richman, convener)

District 11:  Town Hall, Gisborne Room, first floor, 101 Field Point Road (David Singer, convener)

District 12:  North Mianus School, Media Room, 309 Palmer Hill Road (Glen Canner/Bill Bambrick, conveners)
