Mary Smith is given a crash course in the gilded lifestyle when a $58,000 sable fur coat lands on her while riding a double-decker bus. So sets off a rollicking sequence of events in the 1937 comedy “Easy Living,” which stars Jean Arthur, Edward Arnold and Ray Milland. The film is directed by Mitchell Leisen and written by Preston Sturges.
The Greenwich Library will host a free screening of the film tonight at 8 p.m. in its Cole Auditorium.
