Greenwich man with long criminal history arrested for trespassing

Police had given David Giacomara, 20, of Harold Avenue, an ultimatum: stay away from his girlfriend’s Monica Road home in Pemberwick or face arrest.

Officers made good on that claim Wednesday, June 18, following Giacomara’s court appearance for several previous charges, including burglary, larceny and disorderly conduct. Giacomara will now add criminal trespass to his long list of criminal charges, including several domestic assault charges.

Police said Giacomara had violated requests that he stay away from  the Pemberwick residence by knowingly visiting the home on the night of April 25.

“He was banned from the resident and was  notified by the resident that he shouldn’t have been there,” said Lt. Kraig Gray, “and he knew that he wasn’t allowed there.”

Giacomara was taken to Greenwich Police headquarters and held on $500 bail, which he was  able to post with the help of  a bondsman.
