Construction of the MISA auditorium at Greenwich High School continues, with some interesting recent developments.
The new auditorium is almost entirely covered. There is now enough roofing for workers to walk around the top of the building.
Meanwhile, a temporary fixture of the construction site has been decommissioned. Gone is the 180-foot crane, used for steel assembly, which was a focal point of the central Greenwich skyline in recent months.
While the departure of the crane signals the end of major steel work, construction is hardly over. Officials overseeing the project are targeting a May 2015 completion for the performing arts hall.
