Greenwich Conservation Commission celebrating 50th anniversary

Senator Richard Blumenthal is to be the guest speaker at a celebratory reception being held by the Greenwich Conservation Commission to celebrate its 50th Anniversary on Sat., Sept. 13, at the Innis Arden Cottage from 3 to 6 p.m.  The Cottage is located at Greenwich Point Park.

Conservation Commission Director Denise Savageau is especially welcoming all Environmental Roundtable leaders to come and “to celebrate the past and look forward to another 50 years of preserving and protecting the natural and cultural resources of the Town of Greenwich.”

Serving as Master of Ceremony will be William C. Rutherford, with First Selectman Peter Tesei presenting a proclamation marking the 50th anniversary.
