If you’re into swimming – their fall aquatics schedule offers Swim School, the Marlins Swim Team, Marlins Diving Club, Greenwich Aquatics Water Polo, Master’s Level Programs, and adult strengthening Aquatics.
This summer the results of the prowess built by the Marlins Swim Team were surely seen when the Greenwich YMCA branch sent 19 swimmers to the YMCA Long Course National Championships in Indianapolis, placing an impressive 18th out of 138 teams.
The fall’s session which runs from Sept. 6 to Nov.7 is offering dozens of programs in Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility with instruction in activities ranging from Tennis and Basketball to Karate and Dance.
To welcome newcomers and ongoing members a Zumbathon will take place on Sept.12 with food/drink provided by Whole Foods. Half of proceeds from the event will go to the Whole Kids Foundation to help fund school garden projects.
