Greenwich Hospital sees large ER spike due to ice

Sunday’s freezing rain sent many in the region to area hospitals from slips, falls and motor vehicle accidents. That includes Greenwich Hospital, which saw 178 patients its emergency department — up from a usual number of 120. The vast majority were “slip and fall”-related, including broken wrists, ankles, dislocated shoulders and minor head injuries.   [Read More]
