Great flan recipe

by:

One of our younger reporters, Dayelin Roman,  brought in a big flan this morning to share with people in the office. It is awesome. It’s thicker than many of the flans I’ve had and now that she’s shared her recipe, I see why: cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. You can find her recipe, and a story she wrote in grad school about making the dish with her grandmother here.
