What’s That?: Updated

|

We asked readers of the Recipe Box blog to identify the kitchen item pictured.

Most of you correctly said it was a tool for removing pits — some thought it might be used for both olives and cherries, but the box refers strictly to the latter. It is the Cherry-It Pitter, which pits four cherries at once. It sells for $14.99 and is available at Bed, Bath & Beyond and other retailers.

This week’s randomly selected winner is John M.

Check out the Recipe Box (http://blog.
timesunion.com/recipebox) on Monday for another item. Take a guess at its purpose, and you could win the item. You do not have to guess correctly to win.
