What’s That?: Updated

by:

We asked readers of the Recipe Box blog to identify the kitchen item pictured. Here are some of the guesses:

‘‘Strainer’’

‘‘Herb-keeper’’

‘‘Nutmeg grater’’

As many of you correctly guessedor not, it is a berry keeper. Made by Progressive, it sells for $7.99 at Bed, Bath & Beyond. This week’s randomly selected winner is Nancy.

Check out the Recipe Box (http:/blog.timesunion.com/recipebox) on Friday for another item. Take a guess at its purpose, and you could win the item. You do not have to guess correctly to win.
